Hopefully it will soon end as well.
I made a bad decision and bought a bus pass... it was 59 dollars that I otherwise really needed. Work is 20 blocks away, approximately, and I take a bus so that I don't have to worry about getting up early enough to walk to work, to be there for 7:30 AM. But now, I need that bus pass money, and thus, I wish I would have thought of that sooner, and decided to walk. Things might look up a little in my favour though, because tomorrow I have to take Dave to an oral surgeon's to get his wisdom's yanked, I have to be there with him to drive him back to the base, because he's getting anaesthetized. In fact, they won't even do the procedure for him if he doesn't arrive with an adult driver with a car and driver's license, because they won't trust a cab or any other transport vehicle. It's fine for me, because I get a day off work, and Dave is paying me the wages that I would get anyway, if I had worked the day, so that works for me.
I was sick today, as in my throat was on fire this morning, and I was starting to cough again, but I slept and just rested lots today, so I think I'll be fine to go back on Wednesday. I really don't want to have to go through the pain of bronchitis/pneumonia again and then have to take the super strong antibiotics that wreak havoc on my body for three days. YECH! I want no more sickness!
In other news, my hair is black again, and will remain so for a while, since it's been destroyed via bleaching. Yesterday I bleached Fluffy's hair twice (that's my roommate) and then I dyed it red hot lava, which as one might guess, is a super flaming red! WOOT! I love it, it looks awesome on her. She had iguana green hair before, and before that she had a pastel based colour that didn't look to great because her hair refused to bleach. Stupid hair! But this time, we got her pretty much to platinum blond which was amusing on her if nothing else, but I quickly converted her to a fire engine, that just so happens to also be on fire! It looks awesome, very awesome. She says after this though, she's going back to black, because her hair just can't take any further bleachings. I tend to agree... it's been bleached about 4 times in the past two months. Two bleachings each time, because though the bleach was 40 volume (pretty powerful shit!) it's just not creamy enough to go through all of her hair. She has slightly longer than shoulder length hair, and though I'm quite skilled in the dying of hair (no really, I actually am! I cut and colour my friends' hair), I could not work with the slightly more crystal-y formula that occurs with powder/catalyst formula. I prefer Herbal Essences XL4 extra blonding formula, which is called XL4 "Sheer Diamond." The chick on the front seems to have strands of grey, it's really quite the opposite of a flattering picture, but trust me when I say that it takes dark brown hair to BLONDE.
Despite my being broke, I managed to use my credit card to get my nails done today... More money I could have transferred to my bank account, but it's not wasting, it makes me feel pretty. That and I never would have pulled it from my visa anyway, too much interest on cash advances. So yay, nails are good! Good for clawing down lovers' backs..... mmmMMmmmMMmmmm. Yes, I have multiple lovers! J/k, not really. Dave says I can have a lesbian as long as he gets to watch, but I think I'll just get one, and not tell him, and then I can have her all to myself. Mmmmm... lesbian girls (so long as they're not super manly) are hot ;). I could just go to Suburbs... it's a really nice place, but a huge meatmarket... I've already been groped and hit on by a few guys and a few girls. It happens when you where mesh with a bra underneath, and a short lace skirt with calf high heels..... mmMMMmmm... so great. I have three black pairs of boots now! One thick pvc, one thin stretchy pvc, and one leather pair- all calf high. I refuse to wear anything less than calf-high. They hide the scars on my legs from my obsessive compulsive bender when my meds were still up in the air. I scratched them all to hell and couldn't stop myself from ripping the scabs off every few hours. It was really quite bothersome. It wasn't a case of dry skin either, because I repeatedly moisturized with lotion that I knew I didn't react adversely to, but I would just scratch and pick, scratch and pick. It was bad. Needless to say, calf high boots only, and no shorter than ankle length skirts with shoes vs boots. Boots rock my world! Oh hey! I have a pair of thin pvc ones in Ottawa too! But they're stilettos, and I have big issues wearing them. Leather ones have ankle support, but mine definitely do not. One side step the wrong way, and there goes your ankle :S
"I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell"- this is my, and any bipolar/mood disorder folks' song. It's "Unwell" by Matchbox20. It's great :D.
Anyway, I guess this is dragging on, and you've heard enough about hair and nails, and other stupidity, so I'll leave :P
