First they were reading Waiting for Godot, because I misremembered the prompt as "waiting" while I was writing in the car. Then when I got the real prompt, they were reading The Odyssey. Then I remembered that the augury in T.O. was an eagle augury, not a raven. So as of now, they're just debating bird symbolism.

The full title of this is The Sunnydale Interspecies Scholarly Discussion and Book Club (I just read the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and I needed to emulate) but I thought that gave away too much about the story.
