rain rain go away
Its raining. Alot. It started raining yesterday morning and has only let up occassionaly in the past 24 hours. Not fun. At least we (me, Katelyn, Katie, Robert, David, Richard, Johnny, Lancing) have had plenty of time to work on the puzzle from hell. The first night we had no cards (you must know that in years past all we do is sit around and play hearts, spades and BS) so David decided we should start to put together a 1000 piece puzzle. Of course once we started, we just cant stop. Go figure. So now we're all obsessed with this puzzle thats a picture of some houses and flowers with these random 80s people in it.
Last night we decided to be adventurous and go into town to see a movie. We wanted to go see Wedding Crashers, but of course you have to be freaking 18 in NC to see R movies. Half of us are 18 and half arent so we all ended up in different movie theaters. Yes, we were all going to sneak in to WC, but there were only 4 theaters and the ticket guy was watching us to make sure we went in the right theaters. Damn those silly NC people with nothing better to do. To make a long story short, David, Katie, Robert and I ended up sleeping through Charlie and the Chocolate Factory while everybody else saw WC. The ride home was...interesting. We got soo lost. haha. It should have taken us about 15 min. to get back to Kanuga, but no. It look us an hour. But what fun we had.
On another note, I finally finished the book from hell, aka Founding Brothers. That only leaves me with Angle of Repose to read. Good thing I saved the longest for last...not. I hear the bugle (sp?!) (yes there is a bugle that plays to tell you when its time to eat) so time to go eat lunch.
