Right, so what's new? I got Assassin's Creed over the weekend (special offer, £12) for the PS3, so been playing that most of the time. I think I will have to get the sequel when I can afford it... i.e never lol
Went car hunting on Saturday, but the car I had my eye on had been sold. Ah bum.
Back at work etc, and it's the same old story. Nothing gets done unless you shout at people. I'm just leaving them enough rope to hang themselves, if they don't want my help then they don't have to. Not my funeral, as they say.
Looks like I'll be going there to kick some butt, which could be interesting.
Had an email from the call centre, stating that my application has been successful. Now I'm just waiting for them to tell me how much they'll pay me and when they want me to start. Woo hoo. That'll tie me over nicely untill I find something better to do. Mind you, it might be good. Seems like a good company to work for. But call centre work... dunno about that. I feel quite proud of myself.
Did have another job lined up earlier in the year, but I turned it down because of the other person that got the same job. I've spent the last 2 years being bullied by her, and there is no way in hell I'll work with her ever again if I can avoid it. The new company will soon find out what she's like, and that will be interesting. I'm half expecting a call haha.
We really must get a radio in here, it's dead quiet. And the weather is crap. So much for spending 2 years without a window, only difference is that I can see the rain as opposed to just hearing it. And it's freezing in here!!
Been poking about facebook a bit. Found a group for a chat room I used to be in when I was in my teens. I joined, don't know why. There was a post complaining about how bitter everyone seemed.
I am bitter. The people there are the most self-centered, phoney bastards you'd ever meet. I am bitter, because the people that were telling me that they were my friends turned out not to be. But that's the case everywhere I guess. You live and learn. :)
