(no subject)
Right, at work, again, and being bored, again.
Was going to do some work, but turns out that I'm not sure I've got the latest copy of the database I'm working on, so I don't want to do something that'll just get undone once it gets updated. And the guy I needed to speak to has been out of the office all day.
Got a few personal issues sorted though. And spoke to mum. Thank f**k mr bossman is back on Monday, I couldn't do this for another week.
Making myself a cup of tea, just to relieve the boredom a bit. Besides, need the caffeine... Didn't sleep to well last night because of this bloody cold I've got. Bleurgh.
Getting plenty of exercise though, I'm drinking so much tea/coffee that I'm running to the loo every five minutes! lmao
Haven't even got my lappy today as it needs to see the laptop doctor due to its narcoleptic behaviour (it powers off every so often, randomly). Gotta go bug him and see if he's fixed it.
Anyway, it's finally Friday and I'm going to be asleep most of tomorrow. Making plans to stay in bed aaaaaall day. :) G is probably working, so that means the house to myself. I really should take the xmas decs down, but we'll see. If I feel like shit tomorrow, I won't. Simple. As. That.
Oh, found that the desk I broke yesterday (don't ask... I was trying to plug something into a power socket, ok?) has been fixed. It must've been the carpenter fairy.
I just pray noone saw it on the cctv... I don't know who monitors it, but they would've gotten a good laugh out of it.
I must say I'm very happy and humbled by the response my return to LJ has received. I miss having people like kseenaa around on a daily basis.
Oh, that's the kettle boiled! And mr laptop man just gave me laptop back... not fixed but still... I can listen to music now. :)
