Live music is pretty much all I do, know, and think about at this point. At least this week, I am and have actually been seeing more than just my School of Rock kids...but honestly I could see them every day and be happy and thrilled. I love them so much and am endlessly wowed by what strong musicians they are.
Tonight we are going to the Beach Boys.
We being my mom, my aunt and one of their best friends. Those ladies are ultra twitter patted and I am really happy that this night is happening. One of my best friends is married to Bruce Johnston's son and Bruce set it up for us to be back stage with them all night for the show. My mom has loved the Beach Boys since she was a teenager and will very certainly behave in teenage manner tonight. Let the lady have fun I say, she hardly ever does. My friend told me to pillage the green room and drink up...she often uses her daughter's stroller as a place to stuff fancy chocolate and dental floss -- whatever is back stage. Love that.
