I went home with Kristin yesterday for her brother's 13th birthday. She lives in Westford Mass, which is about 40 minutes northeast of Worcester.
The town is pretty much an exponentially cleaner version of Brewster. It's sort of depressing to know that Surburbia almost exclusively replicates itself wherever one might travel.
I saw a Bob's Furniture truck. I can't believe his discount furniture empire has reached so far northwards...he must be stopped, the fucker.
Kristin's family is pretty normal, her mom didn't display any hyper-psychotic behavior due to my presence. Her dog is cool, he has arthritis and he fell off their deck. We went to Kimball's, which is a farm that makes and sells its own ice cream. Really good, we had a coffee sundae.
Came back around eight and played Worms 3D with Nick, Dave, and Lexi. I'm far more proficient at Worms World Party. The only matches I've ever won on Worms 3D were due to someone else making extreme errors. My team is the Mongo-Russians (Hitler called the Slavs Mongoloid-Russians, but that wouldn't fit). My team is composed of Rasputin, Prince Lvov, Brezhnev, Raskolnikov, Trotsky, Kerensky, Zaitzev, and Levin. Afterwards we watched episodes from the first season of Kids in the Hall, great show.
"It smells like my daddy dying!"
Today we got up late and went to brunch. Then we went to an art fair they were having on Main Street. Some pretty cool stuff was there. We saw a girl with dreads that we had met at a bookstore last week, she's really cool. Dinner in a little while and then maybe some Worms or Wild West RPG later.
