In two minds about TV
This weekend was basically a good one. Unlike many, we actually got together with some friends, instead of sitting at home in front of the TV.
I guess TV is something I am in two minds about. Sure I enjoy watching TV, especially good TV which for me includes most SCI-FI, comedy, and PBS dramas! Some sit-coms are enjoyable too, but I don't think I would go out of my way to watch any of them. The problem is that if I'm watching TV I'm not getting other things done, and I recognize that. My wife likes to have the TV on all the time, which I find very distracting. (I find it especially annoying that she almost always has it on in the bedroom, even when it's time to sleep, but that's for other reasons).
