Santana walked on the stage behind Brittany. The blonde seemed really excited and couldn't stop bouncing. Santana felt her stomach drop. She wasn't nervous. Please, these losers would be lucky to have her and Britt in their stupid club. It was more that her stomach was souring at the thought of how this was like complete, social suicide and she was so damn lucky she had intimidation and her Cheerios uniform to fall back on. Otherwise she'd probably be greeted with a slushie facial come Monday. She kind of wished she'd worn her uniform for this, but Brittany said they'd move better in their half shirts and pants, and Santana agreed. Plus, they looked smokin' hot

Brittany may have been bouncing on the balls of her feet, but it was one hundred percent down to excitement, without a trace of nerves. She was going to do what she was best at, what she loved the most, and as long as she could remember the words to the chorus then she knew they were going to do great. Santana had an amazing voice, and combined with the expert timing they'd learned together between dance classes and the Cheerios, they would be perfect on stage. If there was one thing she'd figured out from their first performance, it was that the Glee Club really needed some good dancers.
She nearly lost her timing as Santana began to sing, because she was so distracted by the sound of her voice, but she fell back into step at just the right moment and began to feel the flow of the music through her, smiling out at the Glee Club as she danced. They had this in the bag, and she knew it.
Cheerios? Auditioning for Glee? Mercedes wasn't even sure if they were serious or they were just going to punk them all. She didn't know they girls' names, but even without their uniforms she knew they were on the squad. She did try to keep an open mind though, because if they were being serious, they were putting their reps on the line. Of course, that made her wonder why in the hell they would do that when they had the trifecta of girl passes. Pretty, skinny, and popular.
The brunette could sing pretty damn good, which would probably make Rachel squirm. Both were flawless with the dancing, which was a given seeing as they were cheerleaders. Once the duo finished she applauded, cutting her eyes over at Rachel to see what her expression would be.
Well. Artie crossed his arms over his chest, frowning. There was no denying the talent, but still. Santana. No. Do not want. He knew he should be fair. He should do the right thing. He didn't want to.
Glaring, he waged an internal debate, though he was pretty sure that he was really just looking for an excuse. A justification. He wasn't mean like Santana though, no matter how much he wanted to be.
Honestly Tina was a little bit confused when two Cheerios took the stage. She glanced around, trying to figure out if any of the other Glee clubbers knew what was going on. Maybe someone knew them like she knew Mike and that was why they were auditioning? Why on earth else would popular kids audition for Glee? Unless this was some kind of joke.
When they started to actually perform, Tina settled her gaze back on the stage. They were good, really good, and she clapped for them when they finished their routine.
It would be really interesting to hear what the other members had to say about this audition.
As soon as Rachel had seen Brittany and Santana take center stage in her choir room, she placed her clipboard aside on the empty chair to her right. She folded her arms across her chest and gave the duo her complete and undivided attention. This was an audition she didn't want to miss.
At first, Rachel was surprised to see it was Santana Lopez that was going to take lead. Brittany had told her she wasn't much of a singer herself, which was quite obvious, but at least she wasn't tone deaf, so there was some hope for her yet.
But Santana's voice... Rachel suddenly found herself frustrated. The song, an old one, but still one Rachel was familiar with, didn't do much to showcase Santana's voice and Rachel was annoyed. Was the Latina even trying to join glee club
