Finn was only like, a little nervous. He was going to a party, which he totally had been to parties before, but this time he was bringing a date. Well, two dates actually. He was bringing Fio, his actual girlfriend, and Rachel. Who never had been to a party before

Sass had just finished her drink when Rachel entered the kitchen. Hiding her smile behind the rim of her cup she took a drink as Rachel spoke and then another as she considered her own reply. "I don't know. I'm seeing a bit more of you tonight than what I'm used to. I like a lot of what I see." She let her eyes move slowly up from Rachel's feet, smirking at her when they finally made eye contact again.

Personally, Sass didn't think there was anyone at the party worth being cold over. Then again she hadn't thought that Rachel would show up. She'd worn a sweater that was a cut a few inches above her gray skinny jeans. It exposed a nice strip of skin and more whenever she moved. For a little more fun she'd chosen a bright pink bra that was just barely visible through the lace. "You look gorgeous." Sassafras smiled. Her free hand settled on Rachel's waist and she pressed a kiss to her cheek in greeting. When she pulled back she set her own cup down and reached across the table for the rest of the pack and then asked, "Do you want me to mix you something?"

Rachel could feel the heat of her blushing cheeks as Sass pressed her lips against it. "Thank you," she replied softly. She'd never been called gorgeous before. She leaned against the counter edge and cocked a hip. Hearing Sassafras' offer of a drink, she glanced around the kitchen. "Um, I think it best that I refrain from consuming alcohol this evening." She glanced through the open doorway in the direction she had lost sight of Finn. "I had a keeper for the evening, but he's disappeared and I'd like not to make a fool of myself at my fir... at this party," Rachel explained, stumbling over her words as she tried to cover up her slip.

"Pink is a wonderful color against your skin tone," Rachel commented, the fingers of her left hand moving to trace the slightly visible strap of Sass' bra.

"Thank you." Sass said as she caught Rachel's hand with her own. Brushing her thumb along the skin of Rachel's inner wrist Sass handed her a cup. "Take something," she said with a wry smile, "or you'll have to deal with drunk guys all night asking you if you want something to drink. They'll probably still ask you but it'll be easier to say no if you already have something."

Once she was sure Rachel had a hold of the cup she picked up her own drink. "I can't say I'm upset you got separated. Now I get a chance to keep you entertained."
