Beside him, Jason could hear his mother talk about something or the other. He wasn’t paying attention. He was busy staring at everything and anything. He was in New York City and he was basking in the feeling of finally arriving. It was a wonderful feeling.
He hadn’t been paying attention to where he was going, only noticing that not only had he lagged behind but his mother had also stopped walking when he bumped into her. He murmured a quick apology before stepping up to stand beside her. She turned to him, “Times Square. What do you think?”
