other than being a superbly knowledgeable alcoholic, this weekend i got a couple early pre-stevie nicks (good) fleetwood mac albums. pretty highly recommended. none of them are super consistent (except maybe the debut) but they have some pretty awesome blues moments. definitely interesting if you've only heard crap like landslide and break the chain. i also got a lester young box set, an elmore james compilation, and rem's "out of time." last week of summer coming up, 3 more days of work, a few relaxing/packing days, and i'm off to chicago. should be fun.
