BEHOLD: The Temple of Herod is Risen

Would you like to join a growing cult of religious fanatics that enjoy twisting the truth in order to make it seem like Jesus is on their side? If this sounds like a fantastic ride to you, head on over to:

Where you can find all kinds of misleading information, including this:

In this section of legal jargon, Bethel is telling it's members that (in so many words) that all of the parties involved were happily settled in the matter of who was to blame, but what they failed to mention were the conditions under which the settlement was reached:
The two younger women in question (both 18) were coerced into signing the final litagation papers, since it was technically their case. They were offered an undisclosed sum of money, and were told that if they did not sign the papers at that moment, that they would get nothing.

They were told they could not leave the building until the papers were signed.

I am in no way tied legally to this case, but for Bethel to galavant around throwing the names of people to their congregation is like trying to throw sheep into a slaughter. Their purpose, though subversive, is to inspire their members to seek vengence on those that would attempt to sully their name.

This church tried to tear these families apart, and I witnessed a portion of the drama that it caused. Representatives of this church (Meghan Therrell, a teacher that taught at the girls' school) suggested to the young girl that she would no longer need her anti-depressants, and that the church/G~d would heal her. Ms. Therrell was in a place of authority over a young person looking for someone to follow, and Therrell and the church instilled a cult like belief in both the aforementioned girl, and her best friend, nearly resulting in both of their deaths.

Churches like these are the exact reason I walked away from the world of organized religion.

Bethel World Outreach tore this family apart, and Proverbs 6:16-19 teaches us "There are six things the LORD hates - no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, [and] a person who sows disord in a family."

This organization has nearly destroyed two people's lives, and has torn part two families. This organization is exactly as described by Yeshua bin Yosef in Matthew 7:15-16 "Beware of false prophets who come disguesed as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?"

Yeshua makes it easier for us to remove the disguises from these deceivers by telling us in Matthew 6:1 - "Watch out! Don't do your good deeds publicly to be admired by others, for you wioll lose the reward from your father in heaven." Matthew 6:5 - "When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get."

Furthermore, as previously discussed, Ms. Therrell suggested that prayer and the church/G~d would heal Laurie and advised her to stop taking her medication, about this Yeshua says in Matthew 4:7 - "The scriptures also say, 'You must not test the LORD your G~d." But that's exactly what Bethel wanted to do.

Christianity is at a very crucial point in it's history, and I see there being yet another split very soon: Those who will study and attempt to live in the footsteps of the man that lived in Nazereth, and those who only want to evangelize other to consilodate their own power and greed.

Shine On.
