Humankind suffers from a very severe flaw: We take everything for granted.

It is unbelievable to see how people are desperate for comfort after the hurricane. Electricity, food and water are a luxury in this town. Thank God that everything turned out fine on this side of the woods, and that no one got hurt. All material possessions can be replaced.

It feels very lonely in this town, the communication is down, the curfew is still pretty rough, and my "friends" are a handful of douchebags that never stablish contact.

I recently got to see family members I had never known before. My uncle Johny left Venezuela when he was only 17 years old on a Academic scholarship to Spain. He'd decided to leave the country has he had foreseen a grim future for the country. Sharing time w/ him and his wife, made me reflect and I'm actually working on making history repeat itself again.
