Azima, recommended

We show up, and are the only ones in the place. They give us each a banana, goat milk soup, spiced sweet tea and no menus. The owner mentions through a thick accent that the special is something involving chicken and rice. In nervousness we take it. Two tandoor like quarter chickens, jasmine rice with carrots and spices, a good green salad with cilantro-mint dressing. Ten dollars! We leave a twenty and go, sated. Highly recommended.

Azima: 2nd(?) and Franklin

* I have no idea of what type of food it is (some sort of east african?)
* I have no idea of what is on the menu (we never saw one)
* enormous portions (split!)

It had the vibe of one of those restaurants where you wonder if they have ever been to a USian restaurant before.
