(no subject)
a totaly wasted day. two private students didn't come (one was supposed to bring money). meant to have a lot of stuff done, but never got around to do it. had a long pointless conversation with my student's mom. really, i feel like i am working in kindergarten, not in the higher educational institution! people, you need to grow up and let your kids be. they are of age, they can take care of themselves. well, ok, they can't really, but this is what life is all about. you live, you learn. you can't live thru your children. at the same time, i can't teach a forty years old lady how to bring up her daughter. all i can do is just to sit and listen, and nod sympathetically. i guess i am a good listener. can't think of any other talents that would explain the excessive nessesity of my students's parents to share their thoughts on child/parents relationship with me. oh well, off to bed. after all, tomorrow is another day...
