I remember being stressed about the Bluestockings audition. Well, I made callbacks. 4 Altos, 4 Sopranos. Only one of each got in and I wasn't one of them. But that's okay, I had an amazing time just trying to see how it felt to audition for something.
I decided that if I wanted to protect his identity on this online forum I should probably give him a codename, I shall call him Wiki.
Last night was so much fun, it started out with some bad cookies on my part but then some better cookies thanks to Joseph. They were actually delicious, even though I hate M&M's in cookies. And the cookie dough was so yummy! I was looking forward to a grunge party but we didn't manage to find it...went back to my room and just sat about drank, played games and listened to music. We talked til about 4 am, all the while I played with Wiki's hair. He eventually gathered the courage to simply caress my hand to which I'm still quite surprised about, considering his personality and how shy he is.
Gah. Childish...maybe but 'tis allright.
I'm listening to the soundtrack for Across the Universe, I adore it. There's this version of I Want to Hold Your Hand that just makes me melt. I believe the character who sang it in the movie was named Prudence, and it was dedicated to a woman. So lovely.
