YES! And I BURST OUT LAUGHING because hello, fuckers, wasn't Smith supposed to be too young? :D Seriously. Seriously! Don't be convinced, that's your right and your problem. Mourn Eleven, I'll fully support that. But just don't say stupid stuff like that :D I was talking to a friend last evening who seemed physically unable to say other things than "he's ugly" (I'M SORRY???), "he's old" and "look at his EARS" and "they can't ship him with Clara". I could have bitten my blanket… I've only seen reactions on FB (the admins of the DW group I follow are being open-minded but keep telling people to chill and stop bashing, so I'm assuming I'm right not to look at the comments) and LJ (and basically only the person I mentioned in the article, who shared the vid, so positiveness!). I don't want to see more =) I'm in my corner of happiness. He's PERFECT for an old Doctor. Charismatic and with that gentleman vibe in his looks, yet TOTALLY not a gentleman in The Thick of It apparently. So he can totally pull off both extremes. Besides, the whole point of the Doctor is he's freaking 1000 years old and still a kid at times. Ageless! (Gosh, I just learned that Hartnell was the same age in 1963 though :O I was like "ARE YOU KIDDING". He looks so much older! And he died rather young :( ). Good luck for the interview and job stuff, and do feed me your feels/reactions when you get 'round to The Thick of It, please :D Are you enjoying King? Oh, and Kiss Kiss is a collection of short stories, correct? I think the one collection I read was another, but I recognized a few individual titles. They were lovely, as far as I recall :D Don't be afraid of the smut :D Haha. And thank you! Lol, I thought that comment would be shorter to reply to. NEVER MIND, GETTING BACK TO WORK SHORTLY :D
(They'll ALLLLLLL have to write Doctor/River, as she's the only one who doesn't look like jailbait, comparatively. Ha! one-nil to marriage!) (I never ship the Doctor with Companions as I find it off-putting and icky.)

HA! *punches the air* Someone needs to make Alex + Capaldi icons or gifs (if it's possible with a gif? =P I'm not very technology-savvy…). Seriously. I would implode. =P
Some *cough*a lot*cough* of people are just never happy, are they?
I hope you immediately discontinued all contacts with that 'friend'? ;)
And yes, better to stick to that corner of happiness!
Don't you mean perfect for an oldER Doctor? ;) Okay, I know that my... preferences increase as I gain a few years here and there myself, but I genuinely don't consider PCAp 'old'. Like you said, I was /shocked/ to find out that Hartnell was the same age when he started out! I thought he was in his seventies!
Thanks dear! I think the interview went quite well. It'll be two weeks before I get a result, so by then I've all but forgotten about it, which is good, cause it's less stressful that way ;) (One of the people who interviewed me admitted that they agreed to create the traineeship I applied for only AFTER the advert - which announced the traineeship as if it already existed - gained a lot of reactions! :O No wonder it took them THREE MONTHS to get back to me!)
The Thick of It is delicious. I just got the "I'm a shapeshifter" quote, I'm sure you know that one as well ;)
I planned to get my bestie interested in Twelve today, but it turned out that her American cousin was staying over so I ended up playing on the Wii with bestie, her sister and their cousin all afternoon. It was awesome and hilarious, especially when I had to borrow sweat pants and a sport t-shirt from the sister cause the job interview suit I was still wearing hardly allowed for any movement :P
Yes, Kiss Kiss is a collection of short stories. Greatly enjoying it so far. It's macabre in a way stuff like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is as well (all those other kids and their unpleasant endings :P) except now he doesn't have to pretend that his stories are anything but deliciously cruel ;)
Can't wait to make progress on the smut - especially Belle is particularly impatient ;) But I also want to update Recovering, complete an application letter, sort more photographs, read more Kiss Kiss and watch more The Thick of It, and I'm already exhausted. Argh! Ah well, all in good time. At least I don't have to work at the greenhouse anymore.
