And yeah, it was hard to accept the sinking of this ship, but I think sometimes there is something more interesting about a relationship that's more about unfulfilled possibilities rather than living happily ever after. I can be a masochist that way. LOL.
I really love your song choices! & adore your drabbles. :) Oh goodness. Whenever I think of Bella/Jake it makes me sad. Edward/Bella, I love. But still. Poor Jake. Awww.
Before he could answer, the silence outside the tent was ripped apart by an earsplitting howl of pain. The howl tore through my mind like a tornado, both strange and familiar. Jacob was close. Jacob had heard every word we'd said. Jacob was in agony.

I love this mix though-- thank you for putting so much love and effort into this mix, it's heartbreaking perfect. ;]
It does no good to help a bruise heal by putting more pressure on the same place.
This line is so perfect. Great metaphor!
It's a very different kind of pleasing and comforting sound, like the chirping of birds outside as the sun is rising. This imagery is gorgeous. I can picture the woods and the beach and it's so Jacob. No, she thinks. She knows she doesn't really want it. She can't. But she wants so badly to want it that it may make no difference. You got Bella spot on. Bravo. This mis is amazing and I love how you interwove drabbles and quotes from the book and Being Jacob Black. One of the best Jacob/Bella mixes I've ever seen. ♥
I love all the contrasting motifs Stephenie uses in her descriptions of Jacob and Edward, like fire and ice or night and day, and I just couldn't resist putting my own spin on that kind of imagery. :)

Yeah, I know, poor poor Jacob. :( I think I can live with J/B never ending up together if we at least get to see Jake end up happy somehow.
