Family History and connection
That is how my dad's side of the family basically knows everyone in the surrounding area (Washington, Oregon, Idaho). Why I always smirk when I pass an Azteca and the works.
Also makes me wonder if I would have ended up permanently living in Bellingham running that business or if my stubbornness would have lead me elsewhere with that card still in play. A small part of me would have been happy taking up 'a son picks up fathers work.' Though we hardly knew each other we were starting to before he passed away.
That and much respect for our parents and what they did, had to struggle with.
