sleep tight

waking up in the middle of the night
unknown of time and place..
a second or two of unconscious thought
of being lost and confused with my surroundings..
looking around hoping to see familiar with nothing there
and instead feel something peculiar and completely bare..
through dead silence around nowhere and everywhere
i go back inside and fall into the deep..
in a moment of solitude inexplainable to mind
where dreams come true and i can never keep..
