Usually when I go home, my mom has a new item/philosophy/etc... of the moment. This time it was some organic sea salt thing. Why i mention this, i have no idea. She kept saying that its so great and flavorful and that my dad couldnt tell the difference between this fantastic sea salt from trader joes and regular salt. my dad is a very picky eater...maybe that's where i get it from...well on one of the last days of my trip, my sister was making chicken wings so we could try the sauces we ordered online (yes we ordered bbq/hot sauces online). My mom was there watching and cooking my dad's lunch, and as soon as my mom left to take my dad his lunch, she took out the regular salt and started sprinkling it all over the chicken wings. She told me that she doesnt like the sea salt since it has no flavor so she adds regular salt to all the cooking, including my dad's food since she doesnt want to hear him complain about bland food. Again, I dont know why i decided to write about this, i guess i just found it funny that my mom had no idea that she is being sabotaged (that didnt sound right...).
