Observation - probably really arrogant

It's been an eventful last two days. Weird.

One of my roommates asked me to go to a Bible study group with her. I consented only because they are discussing a book ("Captivating") that explains how and why women have repressed themselves and been repressed by others. It's a decent read and even though all of it is connected to Christianity and scripture, I can connect it to intellect and non-religion related things. I'm honestly very happy I went. The girls that were present were just beautiful people. After the study session, we went to Galleria Espresso for a cup of java. We sat around and talked about things, and to listen to them speak about what they felt was awe inspiring. From this conversation I also learned that if they were ever to know I was a bisexual, lost Wiccan they'd shit themselves. However, one of the qualities in a person that I deeply admire is conviction - true conviction. You stick to your beliefs, aren't wishy-washy at the drop of the hat. Changing your mind is fine, but don't change sides every second. And these women are so beautiful for that. I'm so happy they're going to let me photograph them next week.
The second part of this story is about one of the girls specifically: Amy. (I think that brings the total of Amys in my phone to 3 or 4). She comes from a broken home and embraced Christianity full on only in the last year or so. From what I gather it was done in an attempt to give herself some kind of grounding. Well, we (the whole group) were talking about how it's against God's word to live with your boyfriend/fiance before your married. Amy held the same opinion about the subject (owing all to the fact that we are both the children of divorced parents)- you need to test drive (not so much sex) before you buy into it. When I pulled her aside afterward, I told her to do what she felt was right. I thought to myself that she was way too smart to be an uber Christian.
I'm going to be good and not go in with the intention of stirring things up. I enjoy these people too much. Plus, I imagine it will be more of a growing/learning experience. Almost all political and social beliefs that they have clash with mine.
