the way love's supposed to be
HI FOLKS! I'M BACK!
So my computer has been broken for 5 months or so and I finally got a new one! Yay! So here I am, updating.
Big stuff that happened over the 5 months I was MIA (or something):
*Marissa's moving back here
*PC and Lisa and the girls already moved back here
*Christmas (stressful one)
*finished my first semester prepracticum
*started my second semester prepracticum, which I absolutely love
*gained about 5 million pounds
*got two raises at work
So yesterday was Valentine's Day. And I was single. And still am. But I got Valentines anyway! I got a whistling doggie thing from John, an M&M guy filled with M&M's from Mikayla & Hailey, a big card from my kids in my prepracticum, cards and candy from AJ, a card from Becky, $10 from my grandmother and her boyfriendnotreally, and dark chocolate covered pretzels from my parents. :-) And I brought Valentines to the kids in my prepracticum. And I got to read them a story. They're so adorable. I absolutely love it there. The teacher's great and so are the kids. I love going there, as opposed to last semester when I dreaded going to the preprac class I had then.
Tonight in my Math & Science in Early Childhood class we did preschool/kindergarten activities. We had to sit there and pretend we were that age, and my teacher gave us stuff to "explore" like in a science class. One of the things she gave us was a plate of meal worms. And, yes, they were alive. It was gross. Afterwards, she asked if anyone wanted to keep them to use in a classroom. No one wanted them, so I explained about the B-Unit prank from Soul Fest (when B-Unit and Token took my shoes and Barbi's shoes and filled them with dead meal worms) and said I'd take them to put in my brother's room. So my teacher gave them to me. So I was sitting there with my container of meal worms, and then I started thinking about where they'll go after I stick them in my brother's room. I didn't wanna end up with them in my room or even in my house, so I just threw them out. It woulda been great if I had had the guts to just take 'em home and stick 'em on my brother's pillow or something. Oh well. They're only $1.89 at Petco, so if I'm feeling motivated enough to do it, I'll go buy some.
When I got home tonight, my parents told me there was an early birthday present in my room. So I came in and found it. It was a wireless keyboard and mouse. Woo hoo! I've been wanting a new keyboard right along with the new computer cuz the one I have now is really old and it's sooo loud (ask anyone who I've talked to on the phone while typing) and the new one is nice and quiet and pretty and I love it.

Oh, and I removed most of the people from my "friends" list. Dont' take it personally if you were removed...it's just cuz we dont' really talk and I feel like I'm just trying to make myself look popular by keeping you there. <3
