harry potter...

so i joined along with probably almost everyone else in the world and spent the weekend devouring the newest (and last) installment of harry potter. i just finished tonight and i feel like the whole book was sort of anticlimatic! i'm not sure if it was because it actually was or because i just felt like there should be so much more with the end of the series, even though there was a lot. i think the saddest part of it all was the fact that i'll never have another new harry potter to read, which i think is why it feel less than adequate to me. i'm going to miss all those characters and especially those that had a chance to truly develop in the end of the series. not to give away any spoilers, but i have some serious respect for professor snape now! and neville has become my most beloved character out of all of them, because he is truly just amazing. i think he is more selfless than even harry potter is...jk rowling definitely makes him out to be that way (at least i think so...)
overall though, i'm just sad to no longer be waiting for the next harry potter to pick up where i left off and join the magical world of witches and wizards and hogwarts:( i know i'm 23, but i don't really think it makes a difference. harry potter brought a bit of magic into all of our lives:)
