(no subject)
only a month left in the usa and frankly i could not be happier! it's been really nice seeing my friends and catching up and just being home, but i've hit that point where i'm ready to go. also i really miss edinburgh, like a lot. and i also miss Raiph obviously, i cannot wait to see him again. but i'm rather surprised at how much i miss edinburgh and how much i am looking forward to going back. i guess a break away from grad school really helped put things in perspective. on a side note, the clothing styles in the states are some lame, i can't wait to get back to european fashion!! but mostly just Raiph!!
but i'm hoping the days will go by quickly now that i'm working until the 23rd (i had training yesterday and today) and also joined the gym. work is ok, a bit slow though. i literally sit around and wait for the phone to ring and then when it does i dispatch the cleaning staff to where they are needed and then recommence waiting for the phone to ring again. meanwhile, about the span of five minutes has pasted and i have to do this from 8:30am til 5pm. but i'm getting paid well and i've just been reading a book, so i guess that's good. loads of time for reading! i plan to get through the entire john rebus series by ian rankin (which i am sure that Raiph will be pleased to hear, so that i don't have any to read when i get back). the gym is awesome! i can't believe i stopped going for like 2 months, sort of makes me realize how depressed i must have been. i've been doing spinning classes, which i totally love! and the gym also got a bunch of new cardio machines and cable t.v. for each individual machine!! so i'm definitely having a good time working out.
not too much else going on, just a busy weekend ahead. i need to start my laundry and tidy up my room. i'm going to visit noel in philly tomorrow for her birthday party and then sunday my cousin is getting married. and then next weekend i'm off to lancaster for a family line reunion!!:) and that's just in between the two weeks i'm working. by the time i'm done with work i can start packing for edinburgh again:)
