[The Philippine's stress levels have not been so great lately, but an encounter with Nazi!America proved her wrong in thinking that they weren't terrible for her and the baby's health. Now she's resting in the infirmary after having contractions, America staying beside her. The doctors simply told her to rest after making her drink three cups of ( Read more... )

B-but the baby isn't due until around Valentine's Day! That's...She'll be at least four weeks premature with the way she was growing!

[The nurse looks at her chart and tells her that from the last check up, she should luckily only be about three and a half weeks early, in terms of growth. "Please relax while I get the doctor. Your cervix probably hasn't even dialed visibly yet, and we may be able to send you home for a few hours first." She leaves, closing the door as Bing stares at her husband rather aghast.]

...Th-three weeks...

[Stares at Bing for a second.]

...I'm going to kill that Nazi when we get out of here, Isobella. If...if anything happens to you, or to the baby...

[She looks a bit sadly at Alfred.]

Come 'ere, baby ko.

[She holds out her arms for him, scooting a bit on the bed for him to sit. (The nurse had already changed the bedding and given her a pad for the amniotic fluid.)]

[He's shaking a little bit, but he climbs onto the bed gingerly to pull her carefully into his arms. Gently, he touches her stomach, trying to sooth it like maybe Lillian won't come if he just wishes and prays long enough.]

I don't know what I'd do if something happened to either of you.

I know Al...but I don't think you'll have to be afraid. I mean...that's what, 34..35 weeks? I read that we'd only really have to be that concerned if it's earlier than 32.

[She gives him a reassuring kiss.] We're not going anywhere. And when I'm feeling healthy enough for it, we'll both get that bastard~

[He kisses her back softly, holding her close and still shaking a little.]

[The doctor comes in, clearing his throat when he sees the young couple in embrace. He leads them to a different examining room and confirms that she has not dilated yet, so it's safe for them to return to their room at HQ, advising them to try to finish any last minute plans and packing so that when labor really starts, they can return. He asks Bing if she remembers how to time her contractions, to which she nods, and he tells her that when the contractions get to about five minutes apart for an hour, she and Alfred should come back and to take their time in doing so. "It's a good thing you live so close. A lot of couples really gotta book it before it's like a bad movie scene." He laughs, trying to get them to not look so scared and lets them go on their way.]

Guess it's really not like the movies, huh?

[Holds her hand a little desperately, looking around like somebody might appear and make things that much more unnerving.]

Y-yeah. And if the doctors aren't worried, I guess we shouldn't be...

Al...[She squeezes his hand.] I need you to be strong for us, ok? Lillian needs a brave papa, especially if she's... [She prays under her breath.] God, let everything be fine... Lillian and I will be fine. E-even the doctors say so.

[He smiles and stops to kiss her softly.]

...I mean it though. I'm going to hurt that...whatever he was.

[Kisses back just as softly then holding him close.]

Not until after Lilli is safely born. And be careful.

...

[Rummages through her pocket and pulls out her basilong, putting it in his hand.]

And use that. Tell the traitor I send him my love.

[She stares at it for a moment, then shakes off the crazy tense moment.]

Maybe we should ask Abby and Russia to finish up the little bit that's left in the nursery and just pack... [Is a bit tired again and can feel those contractions starting up again, though not at the frequency the doctor told her about.]

[Takes the knife and flicks it open for a second before closing it and slipping it into his coat pocket. He hugs her gently and nods, pulling out his cellphone to text Russia to get him over ASAP.]

Probably a good plan. Don't want you straining too much right now. Last thing we need is duress on top of all this, right?

[Nods, pulling her own out to text Abby.]
