Late in the afternoon, Wonderweiss watched the light streaming in from the window play across Tousen's skin. The shinigami was lying prone on the couch, sightless eyes closed with his head pillowed on his folded arm as he slept. Wonderweiss was taken with how his long braids cascaded down to obscure part of his face.
Moving from his vantage point at the end of the couch, the small arrancar crept silently around to get a closer look at the man. Wonderweiss seemed mesmerized by the sight of full lips parting as the dark-skinned shinigami shifted slightly in sleep.
Cautiously raising a hand, Wonderweiss swept the braids that had fallen into Kaname's face backwards, tucking them behind his ear. Growing bolder, Wonderweiss loomed closer, hovering before the shinigami's face as he worried his lower lip with his teeth in thought. Decision made, he leaned down, pressing his mouth against Tousen's lips.
When the gentle press caused Kaname to stir suddenly, the startled Wonderweiss quickly pulled away. The shinigami shifted against the couch before opening his eyes groggily.
"Wonderweiss?" Tousen asked as he felt a familiar reitsu.
The small arrancar made a cooing sound as he climbed onto the couch when Kaname sat up, moving to spoon against the taller man.
Tousen smiled faintly at the warm form pressed close to him. Raising a hand to his face, Tousen touched his lips curiously, wondering at the sensation he could have sworn he'd felt as he woke.
