They do? Everyone else tells me they're nothing they've ever seen.

Hm..is that guy all in flames called Efreet back where you're from? And the dancing one looks like Undine...

But I was right? Those are spirits or somethin' like that?

Not only that. Those are their names. Efreet and Undine.

But how do you know? This is really strange.

Reeeally? Do you have a Sylph and a Gnome, too?

We...kind of made them.

...We do. Actually, they're in the dream as well! Gnome is the one with the red bow and the Sylphs are the flying girls.

Your Summon Spirits are all artificial? Wow.

Well our Gnome looks a bit different, though Sylph looks similar. Except we only had one. Or do we have more now...never did ask Rita that question.

Welll...it's kinna complicated. They were originally these beings called Entelexeia, but through a process they actually evolved into the spirits. It was supposed to help a little problem we had.

I see! Where I come from, they're ancient beings who protect the mana links. It's all natural, although scientists can make lower artificial Spirits...

As long as the evolving process was good... living beings evolving isn't always something for the nice.

Mana? Well that's another thing I know about. In fact, that was the reason why we had them evolve.

And don't worry. It was a mutual process. They wanted to help save the world and they were willing to risk their lives to do it.

Was the mana in your world in a shortage, by any chance?

Yeah, well, in order to save the world you gotta be ready to risk your life, be it a person or a spirit. And did it work for them?

More like...we made it.

It worked out well, actually, which was good. And everyone's been adaptin' all right.

That seems a bit better than where I come from. Mana comes from the seed of this old tree between the worlds. We had to resurrect the seed recently so mana wouldn't die out with it.

Yay! I'm glad!

Oh man, I hope we don't run into a problem like that! Ah well. Hopefully we'll have fixed whatever problems will come up in the future. But ya had a tree that produced mana?
