I'll always have troubles listing.

For the past two months, I've been working on the same Doctor Who picspam. You would think coming up with my five episodes would be a piece of cake, but my mind just refuses to list. I'll watch an episode then want to replace one episode with that one. Or I'll think "Maybe I don't like this episode as much as I believe I do." But finally-happily-I ( Read more... )

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed this! My obsession with "The Sound of Drums" sometimes crosses the line between strangely adorable to extremely questionable, but it's one of the episodes where you find something new to enjoy after each viewing. One night, I might appreciate the acting. Another night, I might appreciate the cinematography. The scene where Ten, Martha and Jack are running is still one of my most favorite moments. The music and direction just perfectly intertwined. "The Eleventh Hour" was such a brilliant series starter! We haven't had an episode were we were introduced to both a new Doctor and companion since "Rose", and it did a very fantastic job. I never smiled more.

I understand what you mean. I honestly only watched "Midnight" three or four times since it first aired where I've seen say "Love and Monsters" about five or six, and I despise that I episode. I have to be in the right mood to watch Midnight, and it cannot be late at night. Everything uncomfortable about that episode is increased tenfold. I just cannot do it. That's definitely why it's on my list. "The Unicorn and the Wasp" is a perfect episode to introduce Doctor Who to people! It shows what it can do when the program's being light-hearted. It shows what it can do when the program's being slightly depressing. It's definitely a well-rounded episode. I wish we had more episodes like that, truth be told. While I enjoy being emotionally drained, a little silliness does the heart good.

I hope you do! I love reading reading your thoughts as well. It's really nice finding a small group in fandom who has the same ideas over Who. I don't know what I would do without you and glassbomb and the rest of my friend list. The Who fandom can be so serious and picky about the craziest things!
