They Ain't Too Smart
So, Alex got arrested last night. Actually, he was just accosted for having an open container. The great irony of the situation is that not 30 seconds before our conversation had gone something like this:
Me: Isn't it illegal to drink beer on the street in New York?
Alex: Not if it's in a paper bag. If it's in a paper bag they can't bust you.
Me: What? Where's the logic in that?
Alex: I don't know, but bums do it all the time and if bums do it then it must be right.
Anyway, it's only a $22 ticket, which isn't so bad, and worth the amusing memory in my opinion. I'm sure that he would say otherwise.
