[Video/Text] Because those two need to meet! moebotbee July 15 2011, 22:47:52 UTC
[The video feed strangely shows the night sky of Somarium, the faint light of the moon at one corner, the stars filling the rest of the screen. Someone is deliberately holding his Dreamberry at a distance from his face: Bee is in robot mode by the Lake.

It's his first time experiencing a dream and the Autobot is confused. He wonders what are those floating lights as well, but mostly, he wonders why a mother would tell such a thing to her child. He can agree with the older woman, especially after what happened on Earth, but still, this seems a bit exaggerated.]

The world is also filled with good and kind people and those that would protect humans at all cost.

...I know. I think little by little... I've been learning that maybe my mother wasn't right about the world after all.

[There's the sound of gears veering before the text continues: Bee is lying on his back to look at the stars]

Why did your mother lied to you about the outside world? Why are you not allowed to see those lights?

She said it was too dangerous and I wasn't strong enough to handle myself outside, so I never left.

[video/text] IKR? Ttly cavity inducing cuteness. It must happen! moebotbee July 18 2011, 19:31:53 UTC
[There's a sad electronic whine, because no matter who they are, no one should be kept prisoner, Autobots or humans. Decepticons are another story.

No one should be held against their will, weak or not. If you humans do not experience the real world, how can you become stronger?

[There's a pause before another text is sent]

Those lights, they were not stars?

I... think she just would rather have me... safe.

[but her voice is hesitant, like she's starting to think about something she hadn't considered before.

-then she blinks herself out of it and smiles again]

No! I've been told they're lanterns, released into the night sky on one day every year.

I can keep you safe. [Bumblebee writes that as a matter of fact, because he's meant to protect all humankind, but it might not translate well in his text.]

Maybe you can release lanterns in this world as well?

You'd do that?

[not giving a confident answer of "I can keep myself safe" that she might, because the response surprises her. she's never had someone flat-out offer that before.

and then a smile]

I think I'd like to see them. They wouldn't be the same, but... maybe it would be a little bit of that feeling. Someone already said he'd help me make some!

[Bumblebee finds it strange that the young lady seems surprise by his offer. Unless she has never met an Autobot before? Neither less, she seems so...innocent and naive that it pulls on his mechanical heart strings and hr nods, even though she can't see him. To be honest, the robot is tempted to peer into the screen of his Dreamberry to see how the young lady would react.]

Yes, I would. If you are ever in trouble, just call 'Bumblebee' and I will come to you.

That's very nice of them. And I'm sure you are not the only one who would want to see them too.

[Because he'd like to see them too.]

I'd love to be able to share my dream with others.

[a dreamy look, then a smile down at the camera]

Thank you. You're really kind, too, you know.

[Bumblebee is a bit confused by the blond's words.]

Did you not just do that? Share your dream on this device?

[Electronic optics veer close and open as Bee blinks. He's been called many things, many good thing, but it's the first time a complete stranger, a human at that, compliments him. It almost feel surreal, but definitely good. The Autobot smiles event though the young woman can't see him do so.]

Thank you. What is your name, human?

That was-a different sort of dream.

[it is a bit confusing, she supposes.]

I'm Rapunzel. Why did you call me that? Just... human?

[...Bee is officially confused now]

There is more than one sort of dream? Are dreams not the confection of your brain while you sleep?

Are you not one, a human? If not, you look humanoid enough to pass for one.

[There is other alien form in this world?]

There are dreams you have when you're sleeping, of course. But there are also dreams-something you want more than anything else, and seeing or doing it would be so amazing it's like you're dreaming. Don't you have a dream like that?

[and then she catches up to the second question]

No, of course I'm human! But it sounded like-there was the option for something else.

[It takes a moment for Bumblebee to think about what his 'dream' is. There's only two things he can think of.]

Peace. For both the humans and us. And seeing my friends again. Past and present. [Losing them on Earth and on Cybertron had been hard enough.]

There is. Earth is certainly not the only planet that harbors life on its surface.
