This is awesome, just Pete and his guitar.  Apparently, it's the third night of a three-night residency.  He's looking and sounding really good.  (The video's choppy in places, but it's worth watching.)

I do, too. It's such a happy song. I don't know what it's about, but you can tell they were really happy when they wrote it.

Let me think... What a Waster, Death on the Stairs, Can't Stand Me Now... LOL, doesn't sound very positive. They still make me smile, though. Probably because they were such happy times (mostly) when they were written. Ah, the Good Old Days.

aw death on the stairs and cant stand me now always make me feel a bit sad :( they do have a couple of more upbeat ones, like skint and minted and dilly boys and never never..

I know what you mean, especially when he sings "I'm stranded on this street that once paved my only way home". :(

I hadn't heard "Never, Never" before, but just listened to it now. It is rather upbeat. I also like "All At Sea", which I hadn't heard before today. The music's cheery, but the words make me feel rather wistful. *sigh* I think it's his soulful voice and the way he's singing it. So many songs are like that.
