Mother Nature is PMS-ing
i'm convinced mother nature hates me right now.
not only am i at that time of the month but several things happened these past few days that make me think karma is mother nature's best friend.
our dorm room was 97 degrees yesterday.
i woke up sweating with my sheets soaking wet. apparently the heat is broken in Adams. they had to call the maintainence crew to come over and fix it, but if its an emergency they call the cops. so i came back to my dorm after a 9:30 class to cops around my floor.
the girls across the hall found a cockroach.
my roommate kathleen said that at about 11 at night the other night a cockroach was spotted. how does she know? the high pitched screams of two girls across the hall.
and i also found a spider yesterday.
i couldnt kill it myself so i had to get one of the testosterone jerks next door to get it. it was really embarassing but at least its gone and not crawling on my bed.
today noah's arc could have passed down the street.
i was studying for my psych quiz about an hour and a half ago when all of a sudden the skies opened up and rain began to fall like crazy. i'm guessing 1 inch per minute. sam's (my roommate)boyfriend Carlon came into the room completely soaked telling me and her that he got caught without an umbrella.
so i put on my boots and got my umbrella and braved the storm. unfortunately i realized my boots werent waterproof when i crossed the street with three inches of water flooding my boots. the streets were literally canals and cars were going a mile an hour to drive around campus.
but that's not the best part.
as i made my way to my class a black jeep, with some wise ass driver decided to swerve (PURPOSELY I"M SURE OF IT) onto the side of the street and splash me with water. there was water dripping from my toes to my chest. thank god my bag was on the other me. i couldnt stop swearing. the whole time i walked to class i was cursing every black jeep driving young adult in rhode island.
*SIGH*
dear mother nature,
i'm really really really sorry for whatever it is i've done to you. but i have been recycling my water bottles and i picked up a mcdonalds bag last week from the side of the road.
