College Chaos
so i'm finally here. and its amazing
its everything i thought it would be. the freedom to do what you want, when you want.
my week of band camp was about the same as bhs...but it was so much harder to memorize the music in a week. i met a lot of band geeks...a few of them that resemble friends from band. (aka...bobby...steve charlton...john gallo lol)
i had my first football game yesterday and it was pretty cool. everyone was so into the game with all these new cheers and yelling. the upperclassmen dont move in until monday but already there's a bunch of fans. there was a guy with a mohawk (yes sarah...for you) but i didnt get a picture. there was a lot of tailgating which i hadnt experienced before.
my roomates are great. they're really down to earth and understandable. (kathleen and sam) they remind me of me. we're already really good friends. the room looks really great but our microwave doesnt work well.
my first college party is monday night. one of the guys from the band (his name is ill cause he gets ill when he drinks) its mostly band kids though. tonight they're having a campus party for freshman at the memorial union with free food and free stuff.
i met a guy. his name is jim. i knew him from the begining of the summer at orientation. we've been talking a lot online and hanging out this week....he's really nice but i dont want to like him. (like him as in cute guy like him) because i have a boyfriend. but things are kind of on the rocks. chris hasnt been calling like he did at the beginging of the week. the calls have been more and more scarce. he left me a voice mail last night telling me he went home but came right back to campus and went to a party to drink. i hate him drinking like this. he's had a party everynight. ugh
ill keep everyone posted on the college relationships that havent worked: courtney and jory (most likely to be married) jenna and jordan (they're having an open relationship: aka they're together when they're together but can date other people...stupid)
i dont want to be one of those people but i'm starting not to worry about chris as much. i've been so busy i havent thought about our relationship. i dont know what he's doing. he keeps saying he's hanging around with these two girls across the hall. idk....
ugh.
but in the meantime i'm trying to work out my schedule and organize my room. its turning out really good. the decorating has begun lol. ill put pictures up later
and anyone who wants to visit can. just give me a call. anyone can visit. we can have overnight guests too. i miss all my friends! lol
well i'm off. my parents are dropping some stuff off then i'm going to find my classes.
