football

So, yesterday my friend Mike got a lot of people together to play football, or tried to. In the end 8 of us showed up, which meant I couldn't just watch, and had to play. Which was ok, except I play like I play waterpolo, which apparently is rough. I scored a couple touch downs, and definitely assisted on a few. My favorite was when Anna (on my team) was running to score, and Mike was gaining on her, so I decided to run into Mike. Mike and I just laid on the ground for like 5 min after that, but Anna scored, so my mission was accomplished. Today I hurt. My elbow hurts a lot, and I figure I must have landed on it, if I could remember. My foot hurts a fair amount too, but I have no idea what that's from. And then lots of sore muscles. Waterpolo this morning didn't suck too bad, and eventually my elbow hurt less, but yeah, I'm not sure I should play football in the future, or maybe someone should explain the rules better to me, or maybe just not tackle football.

I also talked to my coach a bit today about the games coming up and season next quarter. I told her I could play in the Nov. 11-12 games, but didn't want to play in any games Dec. 2-3, but I guess I should clarify that I don't want to play in any that conflict with Ben's hockey games, which I still don't know when are exactly. This does mean that I have committed to playing next quarter even though I will likely have my 2nd year exam sometime. So, I should start buckling down and doing more work to educate myself and look for ideas for research projects, since the one I am working on right now seems to be almost done.

Anna just got really frustrated at me for not choosing between the two options whe gave me for things to put in Kirsty's tupperware before giving it back to her (Key Lime bars or Peanut Butter cookies) since I couldn't stop saying that Peanut Butter cookies should not come from a package of mix since they are not hard to make from scratch. Heh. Oh well.
