There's a flurry of activity near the swag tables as a latecomer struggles to get set up. There's a lot of muttered apologies as he lugs coolers, packages, and various cooking implements through the crowd and sets up shop. Eventually the set up is complete, with a grill merrily sizzling away. Plates of burgers, hot dogs, and other grilled treats

Jeff has been guzzling said caffeine like it's water, so if he hasn't turned into a ficus by now, it's not going to happen. The coffee pot is within easy reach, and in addition there's a cooler filled with the usual assortment of standard Earth cola beverages.

"Fantastic!" he replies, equally cheerful. "Feel free to help yourself."

"I don't believe we have!" Jeff agrees, wiping the grease from his hands before offering one. "My name's Jeff."

Grease is one of the hazards of cooking, alas, but Jeff is careful. "Pleased to meet you," he smiles. "Been here a little over a year, myself. I still haven't gotten used to a lot of it. Amazing place."
