(no subject)
argh, headache. have you ever had a slight headache and then climbed stairs really quickly and suddenly it intensifies? it kinda feels like that, but there were no stairs involved.
this morning was my heat transfer test. i can never predict my test grades for that class so i'm not going to bother. could be anywhere from a 50 to a 90.
after my test i finally finished my thermal labs. i was in the library printing them out on the color printer and there was a guy fixing the black and white printer. i was about halfway through printing my second lab when he accidentally unplugged my computer. also at the time i was fixing an excel spreadsheet so that it would make sense when it printed, which if you've ever dealt with excel you know what i'm talking about. so i had to wait for the computer to start back up, load up my excel spreadsheet with lots of graphs, and then organize all the data again. i'm not pissed off or anything, it was just annoying because i've been stressed out about these labs and it was just one more little thing about them that aggravated me. but it's over and they're turned in and hopefully he'll throw me a passing grade.
after dinner sami and i went to wegmans because my meal plan runs out tomorrow and i need to last until monday at lunch. i bought stuff to make quesadillas for dinner and sandwiches for lunch. there was a cute guy at the deli who was amused at my lack of ability to use the english language. i like people who can laugh with me about my inability to speak. a lot of people just get annoyed or bitchy or look at me like i'm crazy... which i am. but this kid just went with it and i liked him for that :-P
tonite in photoshop i made a pair of lips that i'm really proud of. i found a picture of lips that i really like and used the pen tool to outline them. from there i did all of the shading completely on my own only using the original picture for color reference. i think they came out really well. my plan is to find all the separate parts of the face that i like separately and make them from scratch, then put them all together and see what i get. i think i'm going to use jessica alba's eyes. i haven't decided on a nose yet. who has a nice nose? and hair is gonna be tricky and time consuming. i have all summer though :D
i have my thermo II final tomorrow morning at 8am. i'm not concerned about it. it's a dr joe class, and therefore the final is 100 multiple choice questions, open book, open notes. also he likes me a lot and will give me a decent overall grade in the course.
