(no subject)
i leave tomorrow. i have done the dishes, the laundry, i even put my luggage in the car (it weighes more than me, i sware!) i have made this place look like it did when i arrived 30 days ago. i will miss my hawaiian get-a-way. i will miss the waves, the water, the pool, the sun. i will miss the ugly rental car too. i will miss so much, i wish i could bring some of it home.
i have to eat the last of the food in the fridge. looks like dinner will be some grapes, a plum, and a yogurt. no more strawberry daquris during sunset, no more floating as the gentle waves push me ashore, no more watching the kite surfers at mid-afternoon.
i love hawaii. i love it and i'll be back soon.
