Thank you guys for the support!
I saw the kid and he's doing okay. He's both as cheerful and bored as he can be. His face is pretty roughed up and his eye is swollen, but the next and hopefully last CAT scan tomorrow morning should be able to clear him in order for us to take him home. I hope so, anyway. ... Kids sure get it good nowadays. He has a TV and a Gamecube in his room and something like freakin' Blockbuster in close proximity. When I was there we played Mario Party.
Today is really pretty good. Mark is looking well, my presents came (a pretty camera and Pokemon HeartGold, yeaaaah!) and the influx of birthday wishes on Facebook and LJ have really cheered me up. Also, someone anonymously sent me flowers by overnight mail. I wish I knew who it was, because the gift seems expensive and I'd like to thank them personally. Thank you so much, mystery flower sender. :)
Also, oh my god, I am 20. I'd like to start writing fic again. I'd say I'm content with who I am. I'm still shy and suck at answering to comments and replying to entries, but I'm going to try and work on that more. I also want to work harder on appreciating the people around me. Things can change in an instant.
If you guys are bored,
ask me some questions! I'm still jumpy and twitchy whenever the phone rings.
Really, thank you. ♥ /mooshy
