(83) THAT WAS INTERFERENCE, REF!
If any of you like and watch hockey, I'm sure you'll understand this. The team my younger brother played for his medal game today was like a team of thirteen Sean Avery-like minishits - playing dirty, intentionally trying to take out the goalie, hooking, slashing, etc and etc. Up to seven or eight penalties in a single game isn't normal for this level, guys. These kids are assholes, learned behaviour or not, and their parents and coaches are too. Great growing environment they've got going there.
RESTRAINED RAGE. Youth hockey is serious business. (I guess the most important thing to remember is that these are still nine year olds playing, no matter how well they move on the ice. Watching some other kids who have been told to do it intentionally trying to injure your nine year old brother is pretty tough.)
Otherwise, besides the disappointment of losing, Lake Placid was fun enough. Here's some photos if you're bored. I also got a fun hat.
Excited for everything Arashi coming up, but I need to catch up with them first. Ohno!drama looks amazing. Sho needs to eat a triple Whopper. I'd kill to see Aiba's stageplay. Nino needs to survive all his filming and then relax. Jun... should keep being his fabulous self and plan more outrageously seductive outfits with tight pants. Makes for good watching. ♥
