Gym leaders
Green- Another one of Erika's fellow gym leaders. Although he's the newest gym leader along with Janine, Erika found him quickly adapting to his workplace with in a short amount of time. Of course, she somehwat remembers when Green came to her gym, and swept by even without a formal conversation, just leaving with a badge in his hand, and shouting something along the lines of "SMELL YOU LATER". Since then, Green's slightly matured, and came back with oranges the first time he came for tea, apologizing. And ever since then, Green has always come by for tea at Erika's.
Maylene - Erika looks at Maylene in kind of a younger, more louder version of herself. Although they just recently met, she thinks that Maylene has a lot of potential in her, and is glad to help out in any situations. Erika sometimes wishes she'd slow down a little bit and "stop to smell the flowers" (no pun intended) but Erika still cherishes her all the same.
Trainers
Red - If you were to ask Erika who she saw the most change in, she would probably answer Red. She does admit that he has matured after becoming a champion, but Red truly 'grew up' when he came back down from Mt. Silver, and learned to enjoy battling like he used to. She admires Red for going through a lot of accomplishments from such a young age, and also likes that he hasn't become arrogant at all, despite the credit and spotlights he receives.
Leaf - She loves talking to Leaf, especially because out of the three Kanto trainers, because Leaf is the only one who came back frequently to tell Erika about her new adventures. Erika loves to reminisce with her, especially tell Leaf about the first impression she had of Green, Red and Leaf. This usually leaves Leaf slightly embarrassed, but Erika can treat her as a good friend now, which she is thankful for.
May - Shortly after Erika came back from her journey around the regions when May- the Hoenn champion- came announcing that she was here to receive her Rainbow badge. To no one's surprise, she won, as well as grow close to Erika. Erika really enjoys the environment-loving May, and she loves to talk with her over tea in the back side of her gym. She wishes that May would visit her more often, but she's happy with the frequent phone calls she gets, where May chats on and on about her newest adventures, and sometimes Green's couch.
Barry - A new challenger that had challenged the gym leader, but has lost. Erika finds him amusing, hot-blooded and rash, but is sure that he can become a great trainer as long as... he doesn't run in to so many people, or hate mazes, or shout so much. Like any other trainer, she'd love him to come over for tea, but that hasn't happened yet. Barry's promised to return and challenge Erika once again, but she wonders when he'll come by.
Katie - The biggest reason Katie and Erika bonded was over their Eeveelutions; Glaceon and Leafeon, after the gym battle- which, Katie won- Glaceon and Leafeon seemed glad to find someone to play with, so Katie and Erika naturally bonded. She thinks of Katie as a younger sister, and enjoys her company. Ever since then, they've been chatting over tea, over the phone, over.. everywhere just about anything.
Ayane - Despite being years apart, Ayane and Erika are childhood friends from a long time ago. Ayane often comes to Erika for a lot of advice, which Erika is happy to help with. Bellossom and Princess, Ayane's Ninetails, are quite close as well, despite their clashing types, and is often found playing together every time they see each other.
