Aieee! Lizardman!
My teeth are fixed! Hooray! And my liver condition has almost reverted back to normal. I feel so much better - I hated being ill, it totally sidelined me for days.
Today me, Pete and Malcolm and Euan went to the beach and went for a swim. Or rather I went for a swim while the others acted like big girls and squealed about how cold it was. They wouldn't let me stay in the water for more than five minutes protesting I would get hypothermia (which was total crap, you haven't experienced cold water until you've taken a dip in the North Sea at Inverness in October). But in any case we had lots of fun. Then we came home and played Settlers of Catan. Wins.
Anyhoo I have a quick question for angelphie, odango, xangelwingx and truedelusion (I would do that cool link thing to your journals but I haven't figured out how to do that yet and it's late now so I'm not going to take time to learn it right this second). Which days are you guys wearing your Trinity Blood/Grandia 2 costumes? I'm not sure which days I'm wearing which costumes.
In other news I finished my other mini-cosplay project. Yay. When I thought about doing some more Soul Calibur costumes (I've already made a Kilik costume) I became really excited by the idea of making a Lizardman costume because he was my favourite character in the original. I thought I could probably make the lizardman suit and his armour but the really difficult part to pull off would be the head. So I tried to make one and I'm happy with how it's come out. I started by making a wire frame, covered it with foam and then covered it in pvc reptile pattern fabric which I handpainted green. It's been an arduous task but I'm sort of pleased with the results. What do you guys think?
