I honestly would love nothing more than to destroy this book if it didn't mean I would lose any method of staying in touch with certain people with the community. Over the past two weeks it has been reappearing in my workspace in place of whichever school book I have out. If I leave it off to the side for too long, it bounces off my head until I ( Read more... )

That's too bad about Mark, but I'm glad you did break it off. Especially if he was just stressing you out.

How did you see that?! It was supposed to be private! Did I use the wrong spell for the lock? It seemed simple enough.

Remus, if I can't even enchant this book properly, how am I ever going to pass my OWLs?

Lily, your OWLs and this book are completely different things. And you just have to get the hang of this place. It's not too bad, though, I promise.

How have you been? Sorry I haven't had much of a chance to talk to you. We've both been pretty busy, lately.

I'm not sure how I've been anymore. I've been refreshing my brain on everything we've learned since arriving, doing rounds when assigned, dealing with Mark, and doing all the coursework we get assigned for our current classes. I felt bad turning down Professor Slughorn when he asked if I could make a Slug Club gathering, but he understands my studies come first. To top things off, I've started telling off students who interfere while I try to concentrate on my work.

Honestly, Remus? I could do with a break. The summer holiday can't come soon enough this year.

I definitely hear you on needing a break from school. Granted, I say that now... As soon as I've had a few weeks off to myself, I'll miss it and want to come back again.

I'm sure I'll agree with you once July comes along. I'm sure sixth year will be slightly less stressful, what with maintaining our grades and only the end-of-year exams to worry about.

I don't know. Just the fact that it's sixth year in and of itself is going to have me pretty stressed.

I did say slightly less, though I just know the longer we progress through sixth year, the more stressed I'll get. Especially knowing our NEWTs would be rapidly approaching....

Merlin. Don't remind me. I don't want to think about it, yet.

Sorry, Remus. I think it might be best to keep our thoughts on the current year, and worry about sixth and seventh years later on.

True. We haven't completed fifth yet. Better not worry about any later ones yet.
