Wow. I find hard to believe this is the last entry I'll be posting from the school lab, or school for that matter. To think it's been 2 years since I've had this little job of babysitting the computers and how much I goofed around and now I'm out the door. Sure it's gonna be weird thinking now there's no "next semester" of school and so no. ^^; I'll have to change my thinking, but other than that I'M FINALLY DONE!!
Well okay, so I have to come back tomorrow for the critique of the last project for Color Theory class, but the project itself was done last week. But that portfolio, what annoying thing to put together, but it's done and left me exhausted. The presentation last night took forever and we'd even started 30 minutes earlier than the usual class time. Although I don't have my evaluation sheet back, I think I did pretty good. Mostly, it was good practice, because I already have a job interview on Friday for a graphic design job x_x talk about ending the semester with a bang, but, here's a-hopin' I'll get it and if not, oh well, just hope I find some kind of work no later than a month, or finances are really gonna get tough for me.
I'm glad that I will no longer have to divide my attention between work and school. It just seemed 6 years ago when I first set step here that day would never come. Back then I was unsure of what I wanted to do with myself, all I knew was that I was supposed to go to college because I needed more education. I'll never forget the horrors of that accounting class, heh heh, but that's how I learned business was not for me. So for about 2 years I merely took basics until I found the Photoshop class and was reminded why I liked it so much when I first learned it in high school and from then on I finally figured out what I wanted to learn. Took awhile for my parents to get it though especially because there's still this lingering mentality (and still partially true) that you have to go where the money is and I have to prove graphic design wasn't merely messing around in the computer =P
All that aside, I think I'm finally ready to start catching up on many things that got put aside and I'll have the energy to do graphics for fun and I get to decide what's right and wrong. Catch up on my gaming too that's really suffered-- hell PKMN hasn't been played with in 2 or 3 months, and I still intend on completing the Pokedex. Maybe I'll look into getting a game for my PS2, that is if the Wii we're getting for Christmas doesn't steal my soul. See that's one plus to being an adult child living with parents >3 I already know what we're getting while the munchkins still have to suffer till the 25th. Poor them, I do feel bad about telling them it's run out here and there, plus my little sister still believes in Santa so I have to keep telling her we'll have to wait and see what Santa brings. *pokes Santa Sanzo* Now if I get that George Foreman grill there's free Yakitori for everyone.
Peace out folks! ^^ V ♥
