So tired today >_< Almost didn't get up today! Forced myself to get up cause I had a mid-term to write today. That mid-term was garbage >_< The prof had all these questions that had NOTHING TO DO WITH ASTRONOMY! What does mythology about the moon and the sun or why they named certain months those names have to do with astronomy? Sure, I understand that it was the basis on how astronomy started out.. But seriously, I didn't know why they named the spring month the "Pink Moon" >_< Her exam was more on mythology than on the laws of astronomy. What happened to knowing Kepler's laws and Newton's laws on gravitation??? I spent all last night trying to decipher all these equations and laws and on her exam she asked questions such as "What was one myth that the ancients had on the moon's different phases?". The prof said that she will give us the equations and numbers necessary to help us calculate certain questions.. But she didn't give ANY equations OR numbers we need... One question asked about how far the Earth moves in an hour. She gave how far away the Sun is from Earth and expected us to calcuate how far the Earth moves in an hour.. With no equations!! I had to think back to Math 11 and use basic Trig to calculate the answer >_<
Anyway, enough ranting =P
