musumeyaku categorisation

So. K. and I were talking about musumeyaku. And about which images fit the different musumeyaku we like.

So, well, starting with Maachan, because duh. Maachan's element is earth - she's present and flourishing. Flowery. The picture of a forest nymph came to mind.

Ayane-chan's element is air, she has a heavenly presence - like something soft coming down from the sky and touching the earth. Rain. Not in the manner of water, but in the manner of... well, sorry about the cliche, but a blessing from above.

Midori is pure water, full of life and vigour, power and motion. Like a waterfall.

Ohana, on the other hand, is a diamond mine. Hard-working and smouldering and producing one of the hardest and most precious materials in the world.

Tonami? Well, we've been through water and earth and air, and that leaves us with one unused element. Fortunately, it fits Tonami perfectly. Her element is fire. Not flames or sparks, but lava... What she is made of origins in the centre of the planet, is hot and boiling, but surfaces and is touched by the surrounding world - consequently leaving its mark on it just as it leaves it mark on her.

Speaking of current 'siennes? Mimi. She's a deer. Naturally. Which brings her into the same forests that Maachan resides in, but on very different terms.

maihane mimi, musumyaku, takarazuka, shirahane yuri, thoughts, maikaze rira, sakurano ayane, ootori rei, hanafusa mari
