Morning

A frozen wave has crashed upon my windshield whilst I was sleeping. I approach this disaster, appointed to it, a powerful axe in hand. (A credit card my tool..) It tolerates my vigorous blows and effusive aggression, assassinating my pride and piercing my dignity. My attempts to wound the frosted structure that lies between contentment and I are fruitless. I step back into the darkness, defeated by the thick quilt of ice. Today, I learn, I am not invincible.
