Back home
I'm back from my short vacation at my parents' house. It went pretty smoothly, considering my family's habits with drama. I'd be lying if I said it was completely drama-free, but at least, there weren't many clashes. Now that everyone in my family lives apart from one another, it's much better on that part, but financially, everything is still very tense since my father, mother and grandma depend on each other in some ways. Anyhow, it's a complicated matter which I'm not too up to expand upon.
As I said previously, I was a bit afraid to feel awkward around my stepbrothers and without Mew home. Plus, I just learnt coming at my dad's house that Indy, the youngest cat they had, mysteriously disappeared about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I was sad not to see him, plus he probably died since then. My stepmother told me he became very dominent when he got older, and apparently he got in fights a lot with other cats. It's very sad though, he was only 2 years old.
Grouchat is still there, still as stupid as before... But there's a small new addition. Apparently, about 3-4 days ago, a kitten started coming around at my parents' house. I'm very worried he won't make it very old, like many cats that grew up there, especially considering the fact that he's extremely small and naive, and that my parents don't let him in the house (which means he can't sleep in at night). He's very cuddly and friendly and I played with him a lot. He doesn't have a name, but my stepmother called him Pisa before we found out it's a boy. So I kinda want to call him Pissaro; starts the same, except it's a male's name, and a great painter at that.
While at my parents' house, I also snatched many of my old CDs, mostly vk. I'm gonna put them all for sale on websites such as eBay, Nautiljon... even on some LJ comms. So far, I can already say good-bye to 5 of them, some of which I thought I was never gonna sell, so it should go smoothly.
Unfortunately for me, I forgot to grab some magazines (also vk related) and a photobook. I'll take those the next time I go there, because I'll have to go back anyway. My father is buying a dog! A black akita male. So I'll have to make the trip to go see it, I loooove puppies.
