1.
A chicken asked me
this, which came first the poet
or the poetry?

2.
Doggie-bag in hand,
ponder using ev’ry part,
of the buffalo.

3.
The autumn is old,
leaves like tired minds forget,
centuries of springs.

4.
The revolution
is cancelled this year, there were
not enough sponsors.

5.
Thanksgiving’s today,
We are full and fine, but who’s
the turkey to thank.

6.
Here’s five syllables,
and here’s seven more, meanwhile
I have said nothing.

7.
The wisdom in words,
a ripe fruit, only useful
when picked and swallowed.

8.
Why is it that clouds
foster our dreams when they are
slightly out of reach.

9.
Show me the man who
invented art, I’ll show you
the world’s first emo kid.

10.
Why frown at a word,
When we have all forgotten,
What it used to mean.

11.
Haiku will kill me.
Most ideas are never good,
With verbal deadlines.

12.
They say life is short
I say life is a midget
with anger problems.
